Mr. Md. Siddiqur Rahman, FCS

Mr. Md. Siddiqur Rahman is the Chairman of the Board of Directors as well as a member of the Executive Committee of FAS Finance & Investment Limited. Simultaneously, he is the Managing Director of Simtex Industries Limited, a public limited Company listed with Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited and Chittagong Stock Exchange Limited. Mr. Rahman is also a Director of Clewiston Foods and Accommodation Limited (owner Company of Radisson BLU, Cox’s Bazar) and Nitol Insurance Company Limited.

Mr. Rahman has a brilliant academic career and secured many scholarships in public level examinations. Mr. Rahman did his Masters in Business Administration from London Institute of Technology and Research and obtained Advance Certificate in Business Administration (ACBA) from IBA, University of Dhaka. He is also an FCS (Fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh). Besides, Mr. Rahman holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management from Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM) and has wide working experience in different private and public limited companies before starting his own business career in the year 2001. Mr. Rahman is a dynamic businessman with experience for pretty long time. Mr. Rahman established his first business venture Simtex Bangladesh Limited in a very small scale in the year 2001. Since then by the dint of his dynamic leadership and excellent entrepreneurship, he expanded his business ventures both vertically and horizontally. He is a permanent member of Dhaka Club Limited, Kurmitola Golf Club and Dhanmondi Club Limited. He is also donor member of Uttara Club Limited and All Community Club Limited. He visited many countries of the world for studies and business purposes including UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, China, Malaysia, Thailand, UAE and many more. Mr. Rahman is happily married and is blessed with three sons.


Mr. Roy is a Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) from October 2016 and now he is working as Partner of “Mak and Co., Chartered Accountants”. Mr. Roy obtained his MBA (major in AIS) from Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka. He also completed his BBA (Hons.) with distinction of “Dean Honors List’ from the same University. Previously he served Dhaka Bank Limited as Senior Assistant Vice President & In-charge of Risk Management Division and the City Bank Limited as an Associate Branch Operation Manager. He attended a number of seminars, workshops, conferences and trainings, relating to the key areas of banking and risk management in banking sector including risks & capital adequacy for banking sector, Basel-II implementation, Stress

Testing for Financial Institution, QIS for Basel-III implementation in Bangladesh, environmental risk management, green banking etc. He also participated as “Expert Speaker” in various TV talk shows on business, financial and capital market issues. He also taught in different private universities and institutions on business, finance, accounting and capital market issues. He is a Life Member of’ Dhaka University Accounting Alumni (DUAA) from 2006 and enthusiastically takes part to various social and charity activities. He travelled in different countries.

Mr. Pritish Kumar Sarker

Mr. Pritish Kumar Sarker has joined in FAS Finance & Investment Limited (FFIL) as Managing Director & CEO recently. Before joining FFIL,Mr. Sarker served in Southeast Bank Limited as Deputy Managing Director.After obtaining M.Sc. in Botany from University of Dhaka, he started his career in Janata Bank in 1984 as Probationary Officer. Subsequently he did his MBA (Major in Finance) from Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. In his 33 years of vast experiences in
Banking, Mr. Sarker has gained expertise in Credit Risk Management, Corporate Finance, SME & Retail Finance, and Syndication Finance. Healso worked in Dhaka Bank Limited during 1997-98. He is also a Diplomaed Associate of the Institute of Bankers, Bangladesh (DAIBB).
He attended several seminar, workshops & training programs at home &
abroad. He visited to USA, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Hongkong, &


Md. Ensan Ali Sheikh is one of the Honorable’ Directors of Simtex Industries Limited (an export Oriented Industry) which is a Public Limited Company listed with both Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited and Chittagong Stock Exchange Limited. Mr. Ensan completed his graduation in science under Rajshahi University (RU). He is a man of wisdom, promising and energetic business man. Mr. Ensan is also involved with different social and charitable organizations.



Mrs. Hafiza Khanam is one of the Honorable Directors of Simtex Industries Limited (an export oriented company), a public Limited Company listed with Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited and Chittagong Stock Exchange Limited. She has a hidden and inbuilt desire to do the business by her quality. Her higher education and professional qualification have encouraged her to own the business. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s under the University of Dhaka. She also completed her LLB and currently responsible for legal and compliance matter of the Company. Besides her business areas, Mrs. Hafiza Khanam is a social entrepreneur which has given her an opportunity to grow and make a difference in social life in which she lives.



Mr. Rezvi Newaz started his career as reporter in “The Daily Sangbad’ in 2004 and then in a Channel-i in 2005 and continuing to till date. He obtained his Bachelor and Master degrees in English under the Jagannath University, Dhaka. Mr. Rezvi Newaz traveled more than 20 countries to cover various events including International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank and Asian Development Bank (ADB) annual meeting etc. From the very beginning, he has been covering Economic, Financial and Business related news and issues of the country in home and abroad. In addition to that he follows Commerce and Industry Ministries and its associated organizations like National Board of Revenue (NBR), Bangladesh Bank, Commercial Banks, Capital Market Stakeholders and Insurance companies, Non-Banking Financial Institutions, Trade Bodies and Associations, Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), Tariff Commission and so on.
